The CW's SuperGirl had been in filming for the past couple of years, with falling viewers and mediocre reviews. The budget had been cut, an unfortunate prospect for all involved. All salaries were cut, special effects budgets were cut. Everyone was incredibly perplexed on how to still make a competent TV show without the right amount of funding. Enter, Melissa Benoist. A cute, pretty girl with an hourglass figure and a killer smile. Perfect for the SuperGirl role. She was adored by the fans and considered the only worthwhile reason to watch the show. However on the first weeks of filming, the crew noticed it was incredibly hard to create competent looking fight-scenes and flight-scenes.
